Teacher Celebrates FAILED Trump Assassination on Video

A Cincinnati teacher posted a video expressing disappointment that an assassination attempt on President Trump failed, sparking immediate calls for her termination and a state review of her teaching credentials.

Video Goes Viral After Attack

Corinne Baum, who teaches at The Children’s House private Montessori school in Cincinnati, posted the video following a security incident at the White House. In the clip, she discussed waking up to news that the attack had been thwarted rather than successful. Cole Tomas Allen, 31, of Torrance, California, charged past security checkpoints and exchanged gunfire with Secret Service agents before being subdued. President Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and Vice President JD Vance were safely evacuated without injury.

The Libs of TikTok account amplified Baum’s video, leading to widespread condemnation from parents, lawmakers, and conservative commentators. Social media users quickly uncovered additional TikTok videos showcasing similar views. The Children’s House website went down Sunday evening amid the public outcry, while users shared links to Ohio’s educator misconduct reporting system.

Details of the Attack

Surveillance footage captured Allen sprinting past metal detectors and firing at Secret Service agents. One agent was struck but protected by body armor. Allen was charged with using a firearm during a crime of violence and assaulting a federal officer with a dangerous weapon. His manifesto revealed he targeted administration officials. Prosecutors confirmed Allen, previously recognized as Teacher of the Month in December 2024, faces arraignment Monday.

Calls for Accountability

The backlash against Baum intensified as commentators questioned how someone celebrating political violence could be entrusted with educating children. Parents demanded immediate termination and a comprehensive review by the Ohio Department of Education. The incident raises serious concerns about educators’ professional conduct and the screening processes at private educational institutions. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro confirmed additional charges against Allen may follow as the investigation continues.
